
Maya Lipsman is a second-year Master’s student at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health in the Sociomedical Sciences Department. She is studying health communications and its impact on behavior change, and hopes to do work in obesity prevention upon graduation.

Ayodele Parker: I am a second-year masters student in the Sociomedical sciences, and I am in the Health Promotion Certificate. I am interested in all aspects of program planning, including dissemination and evaluation. I hope create programs in topics wherever there is a need, including reproductive health, chronic disease, and to reduce health disparities.

Gerrie Lim is a 2nd-year student in the HPM department with a certificate in Health Communications. Upon graduation, she hopes to work in health tech and media. Gerrie likes taking pictures in her spare time!

Rachel Meirs is a second-year student at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. She is in the Sociomedical Sciences department with a certificate in Health Communications and is interested in food justice.
